Mounting USB stick-how?

I have a stick mounted to my DM800. I installed Meoboot, but when I reboot the box it does'nt see the usb stick. How come?

I have this settings under: etc/ fstab
/dev/discs/disc0/part1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0

When I reboot by pulling the plug, then the stick shows up...strange

Is'nt it automounted the right way, in above settings? Is the problem the stick itself?

I'm running org. Nabilo Black Hole V 0.12 (BL72) from the stick right now, and a pathed image in flash.

this is your mount below and its totally different to mine
I have this settings under: etc/ fstab

mine is Mounnt:/media/usb
Device: /dev/scsi/hots0/bus0/target0/lun0/part1

Did your stick got automounted when you put it in the first time, or have you mounted it through Telnet? Can ou tell me how to mount it through Telnet?

When I look through DCC I found this settings to Meoboot:
Symlink: mnt-media/usb/

yes my stick was mounted with meoboot, try formatting it in device manager then mount it, or mount it first then format. :thum:

I don't fell like format the stick again, then I loose all my images on it in Meoboot...

I don't have a HDD...

Thx for all your effort to solve the problem. maybe it's the "No-brand"-stick that's the problem....?

could be i had a stick like that, but if you dont format it you wont know, and if it works when installing images again just copy settings from flash image, very quick and easy.

or it could be a driver issue and not seeing the usb ports

Yes, I guess you're right. You alwys want to know what's going on. That's the fun part with DM boxes...trial and error...hours and hours with testing....:thum:
