Been having probs with incubucCamd on my ipbox9000hd and have decided to try MGcamd instead.
I've downloaded the cam from the panel but the trouble is how do I add my c line?
I needed to change my .conf file to get incubus to work but whats the process with MGcamd.

My mg_cfg is reading box type 11 for E2 but do I just paste my cline into cccam.list or what?
I'd be grateful for some help or if some member could post their setup.

Hi freck

Just add your server to /var/etc/emud/emu/mgcamd135/cccam.list thats all you need to do...

if you are using sifteams own mgcamd from the panel then you dont need to do anything ells.

Make sure your server is in its original cccam format,

Like
Code:
C: 192.168.1.1 14000 user pass

OK,ftp'd my line in to cccam.list and deleted what was in there already,something like "192.168.1.1 1000 dummy dummy",i dont think thats needed in there its just a guide...I think.
So all thats in there now is my cline as I got it and nothing else.
That didnt work,so I was told that I needed to change my mg_cfg and mg_cfg should read box type 11,now i think that means that i should edit the file to show ipbox,it was showing stapi/openbox when I looked at it,so I changed that aswell...still nothing.
So to summise
My cccam.list has only my cline in it and nothing else
My mg_cfg has ipbox on box type 11 and mgCam is version 1.35 direct from the sifteam server.
Where am I going wrong...I'm stumped.....again

Hallo
stapi/openbox is the correct setting for E2 (b= {11}).
You have to chmod the mgcam file (not the mg_cfg)
to 755.
Best regards

why do i need to chmod the mgcam file when i got it from the server?
Could somebody post how their cccam.list should look and mgcam file please...obviously without your details.
Am i right in just having just my cline in cccam.list and nothing else yeah?
If mg_cfg doesnt need editing what does for it to clear channels.

Open Mg_cfg file. And see if the G are like this. G: { 32 }
If not, set i to 32.
And go dont to the B. and set that to B: { 11 }
And just open cccamd.list with notpad, and add you're c line. and save file. Remember, you must save the file as cccamd.list
Thats it

Right guys thanks for all the help and turns out that everything was correct on my side aswell only for one thing i overlooked after ftp'ing my info,dont believe i'm even telling this but its so stupid I had to laugh and cringe at the same time.....reason why channels weren't clearing is because I forgot to switch back on DHCP in the settings,DOH!!!!:eek:
Wat a F**King dope I am!!!
Thanx
