Metrological to integrate Watchmi

Rotterdam-based Metrological Media Innovations, a member of the Intel Consumer Electronics Network, has signed a partnership agreement with Aprico Solutions and Axel Springer to integrate the Watchmi personal TV solution into the Metrological’s Mediaconnect TV solution.
The Watchmi solution finds and filters content from any source, TV, VOD or internet, and delivers it straight to the viewer.
Mediaconnect is an open end-to-end media platform which integrates TV, internet, home networks and payment systems. It is based on Intel CE Media processing technology and powered by the Metroconnect Operating System. Its Widget Channel Framework, an integral part of the total solution, establishes the bridge between internet delivered content and the TV set in order to provide TV viewers a range of interactive applications and enhanced services.
“The recommendation and targeting solutions delivered by APRICO Solutions and Axel Springer enable us to further strengthen our offering of white labeled Over-The-Top home entertainment media services to our customer base of media service operators, content providers and retail brands”, said Albert Dahan, CTO of Metrological.
