Meoboot or Barryallen

Meoboot is a much simpler program to use. Barry Allen has so many options you can get a little lost.

Just for simple multibooting Meoboot is fine for me and i was a big BA fan.

Meoboot is not only more simple, in my opinion is much more transparent
BA installs many foreign hits, much better for my taste Meoboot

I like Meoboot because its simple. However, I prefer BA for one reason,namely, with it I can zap encrypted HD channels in open pli images.

Am very fond of openpli images. The most recent release " OpenPLi-2.0-beta-vuduo-20101207.nfi " works fine with Meoboot. It installs and boots well. All encrypted SD channels can be zapped. However, when it comes to zapping Encrypted HD channels it fails. I either get "service not found" or a "tuner failure" message. When I go to satpostioner I find that the HD chnnel has a 90%SNR but NOT LOCKED.

I hope somebody in this forum can help me solve this problem.

Very strange mate

Must be a PLI thing because my multiboot images with Meoboot work fine on all HD channels.

I have blackhole in the flash at the moment VTI on usb.

Are your usb images the same oe as the flash image? Maybe the newer images need the latest drivers, not sure what driver you have on the PLI image and what usb images you have.

My setup is as follows:

BH 1392 in flash

VTI 2.2+ VIX 1.3 in usb . All working fine including clearing of encrypted HD.

Only Openpli in usb is not clearing Encrypted HD channels. What is so strange is that all other encrypted sd channels can be cleared.

Would it be too much trouble for you and if you have time , to try the latest " OpenPLi-2.0-beta-vuduo-20101207.nfi " in your Meoboot system and see if you can zap Encryped HD channels.

Unfortunately, I do not have the option to upload the image for you to try it. But Am sure you can find it and download it from their website.

But if VTI and VIx work as i said its a PLI thing.

Im just wondering id you transfered the setting manually with Dreamset if you would see any diff.

Some images just don't fully work in mulitboot though mate.

Just tried PLI mate and ive the same problem on the HD channels. Tried a couple of thing no luck. The image is beta so hey thats how it is.
