Low Flash memory

DM800SE has very little flash memory left after various new image installs . I tried a Newnigma2 image with the ability to use USB as expanded memory but box goes into continous restarts and green screens when I select expanded memory from menu. :mecry:

What is the correct procedure for using a USB stick as expanded memory?

u have to be sure it is mounted as media/usb , otherwise if ur flash memory mounted as media/hdd the issue will happen , better to mount internal hdd as a media/hdd & an external flash usb memory as media/usb & be sure both mounted correctly , then use expand memory to expand ur flash to ur usb flash memory (media/usb)

Thanks for reply,fankoosh. Yes it is mounted as media/hdd so will change that and see how it goes!

One othr thing.. should the USB key be left out until after the install? I notce that if its in, it gets a directory structure and is mounted as media/hdd by the system.
