The Lithuanian Init group, whose interests include the cable operators Init, Vinita and Sugardas, has signed an agreement with the national commercial broadcaster LNK.

Thanks to it, viewers will be able now watch the flagship channel LNK in analogue as well as digital, while the other LNK channels – TV1, Liuks! and Info TV – will remain in digital.

A dispute between the parties followed on from amendments to the Law on Public Information that resulted in Lithuanian national channels no longer being free to distribute.

The move is believed to affect around 100,000 subscribers.
