Kanal 2 slips in Estonia

Kanal 2 remains the most popular channel in Estonia, though its audience share is slipping.
Data produced by TNS Emor showed that the service had a daily share of 19.2% amongst viewers aged 4+ in May, down from 20.1% in April and 20.4% in March this year.
Its nearest competitors were the public broadcaster ETV and MTG-owned TV3, with shares last month of 15.7% and 15.5% respectively.
The figures were the first this year to exclude Kalev Sport, Estonia’s first-ever sports channel, which signed off in April with an audience share of 0.4%.
PBK remained the most watched Russian channel (12.4%), while amongst thematic services MTV Eesti’s share fell to 0.1%.
