Joining satellite cables, how much signal lost

I know it's never a good idea to have a join in a satellite cable but I am replacing my dish, pole, brackets and motor.

The new pole is higher than the previous pole and I think there is a small chance that the cables will not be long enough to reach the lnb.

If this happens, until I can get round to replacing the cables I am thinking about making the cables longer by joining another length.

How much signal am I likely to lose by doing this?

Next to nothing on the join really if it is done with proper joining connectors and not joined with tape lol Its the extended length depending on how much length you adding that could create a loss.

If needed, it won't be a lot and yes, it would be with proper connectors. :D
