Izzi secures European funding

The Latvian cable operator Izzi has secured backing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to implement DOCSIS 3.0 technology.
This, according to the operator, will enable it to become the first in the Baltic Republics to offer internet access at speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
Izzi is a quadruple play company and claims 112,000 subscribers.
