is there a powervu home edition tutorial somewhere?

for me it was all trial and error.
It does have some fun features like finding ecm keys if you have a valid emm(option in the tools tab on the left side of the screen)
If you have valid emm key(s) you can find the ecm keys in less than 1 second.
I was making the mistake of deleting the emm.key and pattern.key files after each episode,these should be left alone,the program adds to them.Once you find keys you can use the pattern.key file to find keys in the future,that is an option in the regular home edition screen-last choice I think in the method of attack.

thanks.. for I recorded a encrypted .ts feed and I am running it in powervu home but nothing ever changes. I am not sure what I am looking for. I just see it trying keys. can it pull emm keys from a recorded .ts file if I don't have either emm key or ecm keys?

sometimes it takes hours to find the keys.Worst case I had to run the program overnight.
If you have a buddy with a fast pc/better cuda card you can email him the emm log file to attack.My cuda card only has 192 cores so it takes forever some times.The receiver I have saves just emms as an option to the usb stick.Home edition also has the option in tools menu to demux a .ts if you are stuck with just playing with .ts.
