Is it time to move away from Technomate.??

Over the years I have bought many Technomate Receivers...
Like many Satellite TV enthusiasts I considered the Technomate brand to be the ultimate for surfing the Clarke Belt.

However, I might be wrong on this, But I get the feeling there's a change of direction by some sate-dudes towards SpiderBox HD receivers.... This together with my experience ofter setting up a Humax Fox-sat HD receiver for my invalid wife and seeing a superior SD & HD picture quality to my Technomate TM 5402 HD Super+
I'm beginning to wonder if its time to move away from the Techno brand....???

I would like to know what other Technomate owners think...??
I would especially like to hear from anyone who owns both SpiderBox and Technomate HD Receivers

Hello, I personally use a Technomate 6900 Super HD which I'm happy. I am not yet arrived at the run through the 8281 code but once done, I'll be at Angel! I started with the series 1000D, a device that still works and I think Technomate is always a reliable brand.
