Orange has said it is going back to the drawing board over plans to launch a UK version of its IPTV service. Tom Alexander, chief executive, Orange UK said the company was reviewing its plans because he was not happy with the service.
Just wondering if anyone has heard ABCom's plans for
IPTV on the IPBOX. The service will go in through a wireless
modem into the Ethernet input and I guess it must have scanning capability and be regarded as another 'tuner'.
I tried it for 2 months and gave up as it was crap -- too far
from the exchange, but in the meantime my provider ( local incumbent) doubled the bandwidth, no extra charge.
Re above report, UK broadband infrastructure is patchy, France have got their act together.
