i just downloaded flashfxp, trial ,connect using ftp client;example :flashfxp
copy softcam.key to directory /var/keys on your 9000 box.
installed flashfxp,
transfered file called softcam to var then keys .
how to confirm if softcam is in 9000

ok you need to downoad the full key pack from here
Extract it on your desktop and in it you should find a folder called var
when you login in with flash ftp drag the var file over. this will copy all the files needed from the keys folder into the correct var/keys folder and the same goes for var/scee.
You'll know it worked if you check in var/scee and see a bunch of files.
then just install a cam. mgcamd or incubus will do fine

No problem. Tho in future go into each directory and do it manually. I told your to copy the var folder because you've just flashed and have a basic setup.
Later on u could have config files in there that copying the whole thing could over write.

i have a question regarding softcam keys released by diffent users, how come some work with the ipbox and some don't. If i open them and look at them in notepad i can not really see any difference in the layout of the keys, but some just do not work for me (ie i can not get informed keys to work from this site)

are you finding anything for tv1000 thor 1westive been having problesm with keypacks as well, could do with one being sorted out for th ipbox with everything in it we need as been getting files from here there and everywhere trying to get this to work.
