go to the satellites that you don't use and manually delete the transponders one by one you will end up with saw fingers though

to delete manualy tp from satellite are u not using :)

(Or delete a whole satellite that your set up cant receive - assuming youve still got one, that will make plenty space)

The TM5402HD M3 is notorious for adding non existent transponders best solution to get over this is to factory reset & load my latest list:-

thx , but i use my receiver to search feeds ... not for watching comercial channels! :)

This channel list will eliminate all the dead transponders you currently have in your data base so will allow you to Blind Scan for new transponders.

Just Factory Reset then load my list simple :thum:

Its the most annoying thing about this receiver where as you say non-existent transponders keep appearing even after deleting. It does seem to happen on certain sats not all.
I assume the method you have suggested is only a temporary measure to scan in feeds as what not aware of a permanent solution.

I think what "William-1" has suggested is more of a permanent solution than a temporary one. Also I can't see a "fix" being released anytime soon & Phantom did state that the STB does this because some sats list all TPs be they live or dead but as you say it can be annoying.
What I do is load "William-1s" list as the default CH list without doing any factory reset, then delete any Sats,TPs or channels that I don't require and then re-save as the "default CH list" on the STB. This then gives me the freedom do what I want to do to the "normal CH list" knowing that I can restore from or backup to the "default" list at anytime without any factory reset, works for me anyway on a TM5402 M3 on 0.1p patch.

Regards :thum:
