instruction to remove tuner from DM500HD

Hi, I would like to remove the tuner from my DM 500HD but I don't know how? I can.t find any signal satellite.

You can't get any signals by removing the tuner.......
You have to replace it with new on if old is faulty.

There could be other reasons for not having signals from Sat....for example check the LNB & cabling first or the Dish is misaligned......

I check my LNB,cable and I fix dish on 1 west. when I flash a new image I can see a signal for the first satellite (astra 1) but second satellite hotbird no signal.I try to scan astra1 only 6 channels. I have got message"tune failed" when I change ato another channel. may be I need an Image DM500HD clone.

Try to place Dish on Astra1(19.2E)and make sure to have maximum signal on a strong channel - Tune up Dish if necessarily from the DreamBox - Be certain that the Dish is properly pointed to that Satellite. Sometimes the Elevation of the Dish needs adjustment - If you are able to receive signals from that Satellite then the Tuner is alright - You have then to check the adjustment to the other Satellites - This is something which only YOU have to find out, otherwise if there are factors which you don't know then ask somebody to help you.
