install external HDD

Please help me!
I have a dreambox 800 and not know how to install external HDD (it is 320 GB Seagate)
connect it back and not recognize the same with the stick (4 GB)
please help me I do not know what to do ....
suppose to be installed

I guess you have tried to initialize the drive in device manager ?

If so try another image in my experience newnigma seem to recognize external hdd's better than others.

Has this external drive been used previously on a PC ?
