image or dream box problem?

Hey guys,

I have clone dm800 sim 2.01 running GP3,

Have a weird issue which sorts its self after a few unlugs of the box, its happened around 3 times now, o ver last few weeks.

screen goes blank, system reboots,

once it reboots,

clock date and time revert to 0:00, so it loses date and time,
and all channels on 28.2 east have no signal, have a motor, other satellites still all have a signal, maybe a little lower than normal but all still work.

so i have to unplug the dm800 a few times, over a few hours, and eventually 28.2e starts working again and date/time also back to normal.

Anyone seen an issue like this before, could it be image?

Could be due to lack of system ram create a swap file on usb and see how it goes.

Check blue panel device manager swap file settings may be in there.

found and setup to 256mb via internal hard drive, :thum:


but still did same thing, went to 28e and lost signal for all channels on that sat, I know once i rebbot they will come back, maybe even couple reboots.

but think will try another image,

currently using GP3-dm800-2013-04-05-ramiMAHER #ssl84b

will give a PLI image a go, there are a ton of good looking ones out there,

if you were to recommend a stable one what would be pref #ssl84b
