I have a problem in my drambox800 need help

Dear Ferret, dear brothers.
I also have another problem with my dreambox 800 bootloader 75 sim 2.01 when I did channel search there is some channels works but with breaks in the screen a lot of breaks and the signal is very strong this is very strange situation I use image " Nemesis" so is the problem with the dreambox tuner or with the image? by the way these channels works perfect with my other dreambox 500. so what do you think is the problem.

are these channels free to air or encrypted channels thats breaking up, you say they are ok on your 500, if you are using any special configs, remove the lan cable from the 500 and if the channels are now ok on the 800 you will have to # out the config in the 500.

Actually these channels is free to air, and there is no special configuration in my dream 500, I will do as you said I will remove the lan cable from the 800 and see if theses channels works ok or not, and I will post an reply regarding that.

What ber do you get with these channels mate? What are the channels you are having trouble with and what satellite are they on?

I suggest you check the channel fec is correct as the 800 can sometimes use the wrong one when scanning.

download some settings from the remote like @likra settings and see if the same happens with them.

Again mate have you checked the channels parameters fec in particular are correct?

Can you tell us the channels and sat position you have problems with?

Hi Ferret.
I am so sorry for bothering you every time but that is what I am and we all expecting from you, the sat is Nile sat the package is Panorama drama - Azhari - ext. the frequancy for this package is 10872 - V - 27500 - 3/4 - the SNR I have for the sat is perfect 90 and the AGC is 99 but when I go to this channels the SNR goes from 0-88 up and down quickly so the channels breaks that is because the SNR goes up and down so quick from 0-90 want stay stable.
So what do you think of that?

Its a strange one mate you have all the frequency fec etc correct.

Only thing i can think of is external interference such as cordless devices etc.

I had this problem once on the Old Multi-vision channels on Hotbird and it was interference on that frequency. New coax with a better shield cured it for me. When the problem is on just one frequency it ia usually interference.

sounds like its ur setup mate, do you use any diseqc switch??
800hd doesn't like diseqc switch but i am using one. if you dont use diseqc switch, there is only other thing i can think of is ur dish is not setup properly(800hd has a very sensitive tuner). you can use a £3 in line amplifier and report back......

i think a inline amp will solve your problem

if a inline amp doesn't help, next thing to ask you are you good at soldering??? its def your tuner, a working tuner should only jump +/- 2%

if you are good at soldering you need to change some capa and trans from your tuner to make it perfect. what rev tuner you using? j/k/L3? if it is L3 i wouldn't be surprise

I solved the problem I talked about it in this thread, I just tried to change the images tell I find a nice one for me and suddenly I found the Gemini 4.7 worked perfect and the signal rise up and the channels wasn't work good before with all other images works now perfect, this is a good news.
But I need your help now in how do I put my sharing file in this image and before that how do I install the plug in addons and the emu addons " extra"

If your referring to you emus config then most go directly in /etc

I got it Ferret I found how to install the addons Cam.
But I need something else please how can I watch the recorded films I have in my computer via the dream 800 on TV as we did before with the dream 500?
If it is possible please explain to me the exact steps to do that.
Something else how can I change the name of the recoding films on the ext. hard disk of the dream 800 recorded by dream 800.
