Humax 5400Z & Orignal Irdeto 2 Card

Goodevening,
I have a problem with my Humax 5400z & my offical sports card which is Irdeto 2 (JSC Card)
a few months back this was working great. and now it just went black. i spoke to the technicial department of the card and they told me you need to updated the firmware of your box.

is there any firmware i can use with the box? to get it working?
and you please guide me step by step, i know how to update and flash it just need some help in which files

I do not know that you have to upgrade anything, the humax with integrated irdetto is fine, you're the first I hear that these problems, try turning it off and on again from behind with the card inserted and wait perhaps needs to

To be honest i did that! today just put the card in my friends box and works great!! and in the humax nothing! what new firmware & stuff is there out maybe i try and flash it with the new ones

yes here is a problem .
you Only need to upgrade the decoder to the last Ver . then it's will be Working Fine ,
and I have sent upgrade patch to your card so please stay on ***** +2 for 15 minutes while your card get the full upgrade , then it's can read the EMU faster maybe it will fix a problem , if still same , then you have to do software for your humax decoder .

lnb has nothing to do, nor why the firmware humax 5400 has integrated irdetto incorporated and has no problems reading the card irdetto I think the problem is the update, the facts on which channel you have to say and let them pozizionare the card until you update, hello

Why did you come to this conclusion?
How could one help you when you don`t give a good explanation about your problem. You only said your card is not working. there are some things one has to know to help you.

First what are you having on the screen? It is not just a black screen for sure. Humax can read Irdeto card with almost all versions. Beside black screen you should get this on your screen " Bad Signal or scrambled for sure. Have you checked a free channel on hotBird and see if you have a picture.
One easy way on humax to find the fault is to checking on the bottom banner the 2 narrow lines which you should have one blue and the other red. The blue line tells you that you have contact from the humax to your LNB. the red line tells you that you are not in line with the particular Satellite if it is not there and that means you have to move your dish to line the sat. If no blue line is on than there is no connection and could be from any joint or F connecters are not connected well and you might need to refresh the tips of the wire and put back the F connecter

Im texting from my mobile. well lets me explain maybe i wasnt clear. i had a dreambox 600pvr and it just was working one day and the next day bad or no signal. so i checked the signal with the meter and found it ok! so i hocked my humax as a replacement and the signal was great 99% but the jsc sports was still closed as a station (i have the offical cqrd) so i contact jsc technical thinking its a problem from their side they told me no problems and even sent me a activation signal again but nothing. then they came back to me and told me please update ur humax to the lastest firmware which i did yesterday and they resend me the actvtion signal but nothing works . I just have a wire up to the lnb. but what i know is lnbs are twoway and it could be my lnb is not sending my card info as the humax acceps the card when.i put it in.. in 2hrs time i.will try and replace the lnb

You said u had DM 600PVR and one day u have a signal and next day u don`t. So it already indicate that u have a problem with the dish or connection. Coming on and off it is loose connection. Any way I don`t know what kind of meter u have used but with ur Humax u can find the problem easy. Connect ur humax and choose a free channel like Rai uno 10992V-27500-2/3. this channel should give you a 99 to 100% signal.Press red button (info) on remote so u will have the the bottom menu on screen and look at the 2 narrow vertical lines. First one should be half way blue. This indicates u have connection or not. If blue is not shown than you have a broken connection or damaged LNB. Now as u have not said any thing about ur dish and which I assume it is fixed cause u said that the Lnb is 2 way that is dual and which this is mostly used on fixed dishes. Still u did not say how many Lnb or satellites u have on the dish. The reason is cause if you have more than one Lnb it could be the DiseqC switch not working. Thats why I have told you that one should give all the info possible as I am not there so you have to tell the details. I started installing all kind of dishes fixed and motorized with just a simple humax 54 and a monitor.

sorry about the one early as i was in a hurry.. dish is fixed.. direct wire is direct to LNB (no diseqc) the funny thing u kif.. i had my dreamboxs 600pvr working great last friday .. free to air and jsc , saturday turned it on and found a no signal. so the 1st thing i did is check dish... found it ok even with the signal meter. remoted dreambox and replaced with the humax 5400z turned on.. signal strenght good issa i'll attach a photo. Free to air ok.. JSC works for 10mins and nothing..(btw im using an offical Irdeto 2) spoke to jsc technicial they are very helpful. refresh signals sent and humax nothing,, upgraded humax to toH3.4_HoT11.5 and nothing today changed lnb for another one and nothing.. its very very strange.. issa i will get an irdeto cam and try it via common interface..

So you had a signal last friday and you have forgot that last Saturday we had force 9-10 winds and probably your dish has moved and lost aliament. Now I notice that u r from my country. Vera inti Malti? this whole week I have been fixing dishes that has moved and lost signal because of heavy winds of last saturday. It cannot be your card when you said that you have tried it on your friend decoder. Did you check those lines on Rai uno and did you clear the picture. this is free to air. You have to elinate things that could be complicated so first you have to find a picture on hotbird that clears cause if the dish has moved and you are getting a signal and can`t clear the picture it could be on another sat and which that particular transponder is being use.

just an update.. on the humax jsc sports came in working... but just noticed... when the key change is happening it goes black and stays black. guess the key change is faster then the humax

Now leave it on JSC +2 and press the ? on the remote and check if it match this transponder

So as what I can see from the photos it is amazing and surprised with all the signal you have.
My version is Hot 11 and can read all the Irdeto cards but any way I don`t thing it makes any difference.
In the Config section line Caid Preselect ----> Card +Emu

What is surprising me is that you have all that signal and you are not clearing RAI NEWS which is Free to Air.

1) After sending the software to your humax, did you give it any PMCT table.
if it does not work with PMCT table and ways first on a free channel to get your first picture
2) take your humax to try it on a friends dish knowing that he is clearing hot Hotbird to check it.
If it works on your friends Dish it might be that you are facing another Sat with same transponders used.
