Howto work with several images in dm8000

Howto can I work with several images in dm8000 like a FlashWizard in dm7020?
I use the Web Interface to install the last gemini, but I haven't seen any option to install another images without lost the gemini, and in which device (like CF, USB or HDD) to install it.

Flash image option by web interface

I have the last gemini install in flash by web interface, is a good option to install Meoboot or Barry Allen?
If I install another image in flash, can I lost my settings and configurations?

If you install a new image in flash all your configurations and settings will be lost. Backup your files via FTP or DCC and your channel list with DreamBoxEedit to your computer before a reflash.

I don't know if BA or MeoB is the best multiboot application, I run MeoB 0.96 and it works fine.

You will need the latest drivers (latest image) in flash for your multiboot image to work well.

Some of the new images with latest drivers from 20101215. Use a new image in flash and new images on multiboot then you will be safe from driverproblems...

Agreed you need to use the very latest image of your choice. The image you use need to have the latest kernel and drivers all the images you use on a USB stick need to match the image kernel.

Meoboot is the easiest option but BA has lots of option you may in the future use.

Install BA to a cf card then install as many images to the cf that you need, if you have a USB stick installed I would remove it while you install BA.

You could use two cf cards with BA installed on each but what’s the point

If I have 1 CF with AB and another CF with meoboot,Can I use the CF with AB today and tomorrow replace it for CF with meoboot?

Whay would you want to do that ? You can install multiple images on one CF card.

You are write, but I want to have the both environment for test and choice the best, but I don't know what can happen in the Flash image.
