how to work with dm500s

i have some questions about dm500S
-how to download softcam ?
-how to arrange the list of channels ?
explenations in a voice call will be better then writing.
can anyone talk to to me in a VOICE CALL at skype ?
what is your skype mame (i have a micropfone)

To install a emu them simply press the blue button twice to see the Gemini addons server and download your chosen emu from there.

Your 500 will need to be connected to your router to achieve this.

after the downloading how can i check what emu name and version was installed in my dm500s ?

Top option use <> arrows on remote to select the emu then you just need to start it.

No but you can manual install it by FTP

Transfer the e1 tar.gz from here to the tmp folder at the root of your image.

You can not install anything with rs232 other than a image.

TV Globo is open on 13 east to be honest a dreambox is not about keys. You need to research CCcam and youll see.

You'll need a crossover cable and you'll need to set DCC up to use the crossover cable, it selectable in the dropdown menu on the config screen.

it's a rj45 cable ethernet croossover not a serial cable for port com

port com it's ONLY for flasching your box with .IMG

dreambox use blue button for download and instal :
emu ,key channel, setting , plug in , picon , ect

after for manuel instal with your pc use software: DCC 2.95 for FTP instal but rj45 needed

ok from one side of the rj45 cable ethernet crossover the dm500 has to be connected
but has to be connected form the other side that cable ?

One end of the rj45 goes into a spare network card on your PC and the other end to the Dreambox.
