how to upgrade a patched image from ramiMaher

Hi

I have a dm800 clone;
therefore only patched images work;

I also have meoboot installed
((I'm very careful, because I don't have a serial port in case flash goes wrong))

I have a patched newnigma from ramimaher also on external flash

on blue panel "newnigma2 services" via manage additional service many many corrections (updated) are available;

a few with non critical names I have updated:

can I also update such things like

front processor upgrade
kernel base
kernel image

or is this stuff "you don't touch" for an upgrade ???


answer surley is important for many users;


so how to update ? step by step or do we wait for a new image patch ?

its not advisable to do any online updates on clone as bootloader can be downloaded also causing your clone to show a error at the next boot.

Best bet is to just upgrade to a newer version of the patched image.
