Hi All,

I try to find similar threat but I couldn’t, or didn’t understand it. I have dm800 2.01 sim bl75 with dreamelite image, is there any chance to record on my 32gb Kingston usb stick.
Another question, is there any way that I can edit vpid or apid of any channel in dm800?

Cheers mates

Hi mate

On the DE image it could be as simple as mapping the usb drive in device manager and then putting a movies folder on the usb stick.

Does not always work out that way though but you can try it.

change media/hdd/movie with media/usb/movie
USB must format and mounted on sistem
press video twice
press menu
switch to file list and press ok
press ok on parent directory
scroll to list of storage devices press ok
should give you option
lower usb slot
usb stick
internal flash
at the bottom of screen should be green button to ok
new recording path

I finally made it!!

When i mounted AND created the /media/usb/movies file i didnt rebooted...

When i did it and entered again the video menu it was there without me, having to change it!!

Now on the other hand i get freezes when i play recorded files from HD channels....

Any idea why??

If your USB is slow HD channels may glitch it a bandwidth issue the stick can not keep up.

If its a new HDD mate never been used in a PC it should see it and allow it to initilize try another image !

If that fails then you could try format and mount it by telnet.

umount /media/hdd
mkfs.ext3 /dev/sda1
mount /media/hdd
mkdir /media/hdd/movie

reboot
