Hi, I'm looking to find out how to ope webtv on my Android phone , anybody know how to do it ? Thanks in advance !

I used a plugin called Dreamdroid that requires a codec called vplayer if i remember correctly both available on the app market.
Worked well over local lan but away from home you need serious upload bandwith to keep the cache full.

I never got Dreamdroid to work over the internet so I changed to DreamStreamoid pro.
It too uses Vplayer to stream from the lan but uses android's built in stream player to stream over 3g or remote wireless, for internet streaming from the Dreambox it uses VLC on your PC to transcode.
DreamStreamoid pro has settings to adjust the bitrate according to your connected speed. The DreamStreamoid pro app can also be used to bootup and shutdown the VLC server PC.
It's a little more complicated to setup compared to Dreamdroid but worth it because it does alot more.

i use orb to stream to my android.
i use a win tv happauge conected to dm as orb sees haupauge you then connect to your orb address via your mobile.
i then set timers on dm to switch channels etc.
the good thing orb streams it at a low bandwith for and i can connect through my free internet bolt on with 02 hehe .
ha ha 02 have phoned me a couple of times and told me to watch my usage hehe

I have just installed and configured dreamstroid to stream from my Vu+ to HTC desire HD. I followed all the instructions on the help. I can connect to my box via 3g from phone and get channel listing and epg but when I try to stream it just says loading and thats it, nothing comes up. Help needed plse.
