How to merge multiple recordings in DM8000 PVR?

Hello all,

I have 3 (separate files) recordings in my DM8000 PVR, is there a plugin which I can use to merge the 3 recordings into 1?

Any will be highly appreciated. :158:

Better do merging with your windows pc in command window

e.g.:

copy /b C:\recordings\*.ts C:\recordings\mergedmovie.ts

Cutpoints will be visible though in most cases.

For dreambox I don´t know a plugin, but you may perhaps use linux command "cat" with Telnet

Better filemerging and cutting of dreambox recordings you get with Cypheros TS-Doctor (29 € after 30 days trial) - it has a filemerger inside, repairs faulty transport streams, cuts with preview, converts (mkv, mp4, AVCHD, Bluray, etc.) and lets you choose audio, subtitles, etc..
I´m satisfied in most cases.

Yes, it´s command line stuff. Many people don´t like that and I admit, me too, I only rarely use it and prefer programs with GUI.

That´s why I mentioned TS-Doctor. You don´t need command line there and merged results are better.
Disadvantage is, that you have to transfer the recordings with an FTP program (e.g. Filezilla or DCC e2) to a pc.
