Again what are we trying to accomplish?

Lets say you guys want to learn C and in the process learn about CSA. I see there are already 2 guys. Well if you guys are really interested we can create a small project to learn and have fun.

Now if the Idea is to make a BETTER Improved program than Cwfinder because you guys think that it can be done, just think about it one more time. CSA has been around I guess for 40 years and all we have is a few programs as it is really hard to crack.

So if you guys want to create a project for FUN and learning, just say it. And we go from there. I guess srijan20 "Hacking TS File using C/C++" thread will do it. But no hope to create a Novel Prize program. I will be around.

I did ran about 10+ year ago cwfinder helping some Brazilian group on google. But not recently. So I clearly do not know how fast it goes. I guess I need to test it again.

You can csa encrypt a ts file using vlc. Look at preferences - all - stream output - muxers - mpegts

Your new New update "CW_list_Attack_2017" - 15.06.2017 gave the first results today. Today I made some records about ID: Arqiva HD12 (7.0E 12573 H 7200) The last record was 3 Giga but not CW found. And after a test with 250 Mega record your new CW list found only for 15 seconds the key

Sorry for me bad english. Compliment for your trouble. But are the chances really to find CW? I have now tried to determine over a longer period of time over 150 CW. But no chance.

6 bytes (48 bits) must be determined and this is about 281 billionen possibilities.

1 byte = 256 different possibilities.
6 bytes = 256 x 256 x 256 x 256 x 256 x 256 = 281.474.976.710.656 (Excel calculation)

For example, 10 million entries in the attack list requires an average of 28.147.498 attempts for a hit. This is not to diminish the work now.

If that is not so ... I like to correct myself?

If some byte such as "2017" or "1234" are known the situation is of course different.

I've just discovered a scary bug in CW Finder 1.0:
if you use CW list attack and try to check two TS files then if first finishes without success then for 2nd file even if there is proper CW in attack file CW Finder returns 'CW not found...' and every next attempt fails too.

Even simple CW attack file:

fails to find CW if first I'm checking other TS file.
In short if you do not find CW in any TS file to continue search in next file you must open new CW Finder instance :/

I always bail out and start over after a failure.
Noticed it myself by trying a .ts I already had the keys for via a previous episode using v1.0 and it failed to find the key again.

Without list ... normal Brute Force from - to ... the error does not exist.

Since I have not found any CW with any list - no opinion on this.

Perhaps times someone shares a current feed with ... with which the CW is in a list.
