hi.
i am thinking of getting a spiderbox 9000.
i would like a bit of help.
do i need to connect the box to the internet.
if so what cable will i need to connect from my pc to the box.

Spiderbox is a linux base reciver.

You can conect the reciver
throw the internet line like the others linux box
with line cable.

this box was not Linux. but latest patch make the box as a server
also you need to be connected to network if you want to have all the channels
if you don't want to connect to network then the last patch & up to dated softcam will open Nova Cy,Bulasatcom,C+dgital
