Help with VU+ Solo clone

Hey guys

need some advice, before splashing out on the newer original VU+ solo2. I decided to buy a VU+ Solo clone to mess around with.

Bought it direct from china (5 days fedex) £76 delivered will just resell when ready to get original solo2.

It stated it will work with original images.

"Vu Solo Accept Original image version 3.0 Vu+Solo Satellite Receiver DVB-S2 HD Enigma 2 Linux OS"


Connected it up had a PLI image on set it up with usuals worked ok.

So I download the latest Blackhole image from VU+community.

steps /results.

1, formatted flash drive to fat32 (tried)
2, copied "vuplus" folder to the root of the flash drive.
3, power off box
4, inserted usb stick
5, powered unit back

Front display stays solid green(with tiny redlight) for a bit then quickish flash red, then to a flashing green.

6, unplug and remove flash drive
7, power back up and now I have a blank screen with a solid green light.


any ideas guys?

got it guys, latest black hole now working.

Blank screen wasn't an issue, I have box connected to my denon hdmi amp, and as soon as i rebooted amp display comes up TV, doesn't do that with my dm800, so wasnt especting it.

thought Id post any in case anyone has same issue.

installed cccam manually, cant seem to find were to change from common interface (facepalm)

in blackhole blue panel, only see common interface
