help with 910hd

i have to put in a new image on my 910hd but when i download the new image , i get a fil that ends on tar.gz if i open it i can see all the files, but what i need is the .img file, what do i do

If you can see all files/directory in tar gz it is because you have downloaded an USB/HD version...try to search "how to install usb version"

what version do i download then, i want to use an usb stick to update with

If you need only update, you must search "flash version" so you have an usb_update.img inside the zip or tar or rar file
Format your pen (more than 2gb fat32) then copy the usb_update.img file (33 296 384 bytes)& with power OFF insert the usb pen, then press the button on & at same time power ON the back button...wait until message "upgrade software" appear & release...that´s all

**IMPORTANT > the img must have this name usb_update.img or you have errors

new problem with another box 910hd when i get the flash version it try for some time, and then comes back with error 1

ok i got it working, but my new problem is that the sattelites we use here is not in the list, how do i get them
