HELP! trying to get Arabsat 26E

hi chaps i'm having difficulty trying to get certain channels on arabsat 26.0e i have a motorised 90 cm dish with tecnomate 5400 i'm only picking up 48 channels any suggestions would be gratfull

these are badr 4/6 satellites collectively known as arabsat,there are several different beams,
best to go to a sat site like kingofsat check your transponders in your tm 5400 against ones listed, then try a couple from each beam.it may be that the beam is not intended for your location.also remember that even in blind search mode the tm5400 has been known to miss some frequecies.

you need a bigger dish mate to get all the channels you wanted in 26.0e or 25.5e. Atleast 1.5m dish..

I only get Badr4 (both BSS and MBC Beams) with 1.1m dish, so if your after all 26E and 25.5E a bigger dish than 90cm definately required.

[on a related note anyone know if the new Badr5 has a similair replacement Beam for MBC or are we going to lose these channels in the UK if we only have a 1.1m dish]

not sure about replacement beam, but just for reference done a recent scan pulled over 150 progs on 26.0 e. with 1.0 m motorised dish.
