Help Please Alma s2300HD Combo

Hi Guys. A Mate of mine has a Alma s2300 HD Combo, and ash is coming up on the display, so because of that, he cannot do anything with Box. Do anyone of you know if their is a Recovery File to be got to repair this problem, or is there a Loader for the Alma s2300 HD Combo, that can be used with the Null Modem Cable.

i'm new to all this. I just tried to update my brand new box with v1.20 and now all i see is ASH on the box. I now cant use it. Does anyone know how to fix this or is it beyond repair?

Hi. I too have an Alma s-2300 which crashed when I upgraded to v.1.20B6. I got as far as a screen offering three choices. Language, Installation and Menu. I choose Menu and the box went into a loop on-strt-ON. I have no access at all. I downloaded the Upgrade 2.0b tool kindly provided by Jakitaki and attempted to fix the problem with that. The comm is established and I can download "All Chunk" with my chosen software version. When "All Chunk" is finished downloading it attempts to burn the flash but reports "Error no Packet Received". Any suggestions welcome.

I had same problem....
I solved using Erom_Upgrade for Ali3606 and load firmware 1.20B2.
I think fw 1.20b6 is with Bug!

I had same problem....
I solved using Erom_Upgrade for Ali3606 and load firmware 1.20B2.
I think fw 1.20b6 is with Bug!

firmware.can it be loaded by key or must it be done by rs232 lead
