Hello,
I am very new to receivers and decoding. I have a Strong SRT 4900.
How I can tell what way of decoding is being used by it? I see it has a key file (softcam key) which has the codes in it... but since it is also connected to the internet through my DSL, and if i disconnect it from the DSL, the decoding stops, and since the codes in that softcam key are changing with time, I think it is using something to update this key file over the DSL.
Anyone please can tell me what shall I do to change the server that is being used to update the softcam key file? and if this is not the case, any help on what to look for to be able to decode encrypted channels using SRT 4900?
Thanks
