Hi all,
configfile parse error ?

I need someone to tell me how i can connect to Edg 4.4 extras and addons in a TM9100s please?

I have put the extra.url in var/ect attributes at 755 and also tried 644 too but i keep getting the same error or if i try to connect to addons it states: "301 moved permanently to h**p://dreamboxonline"

I did have this working a while back with the t35 url but the extra.url has changed and i now have h**p://extra.comoj.com/ as the new url but i am lost now with the error ???

anyone know where i have went wrong or what i should do to get the extras and addons working ???

TM IP 192.168.1.6
ROUTER IP 192.168.1.1
laptop IP 192.168.1.3

this error usually means box cannot connect to internet, check all cables, find out box ip and make this into DMZ for your router. Disable any firewall features installed into router.

SUMMARY - Configfile parse error - Evolution Image 2.7 (download panel)

I've got a DM500S here with a squeeshy clean Evolution Image 2.7 here we've found so visually appealing that we decided to try out this, d/l-ed from here.

I would like to get into [1 - Download Addons] on [Evolution download panel] though even after trying and failing for like two nights straight I ended up posting here.

In-depth research on Google and these Forums allows me to state the following:

The appearance of "Configfile parse error" originiates
-a non-working internet connection
-a missing or outdated "var/etc/extra.url" (it does not seem to be included in the original image)
-what else?

Things one can do or I have done to assure a working connection
Being able to connect to the box (to web interface, by ftp or whatever) behind a router doesn't mean it can truly get out into the internet. So I went to the box by telnet and tried to ping the router - success. Pinging google.com - success
..I'm quite sure the box is able to communicate with the webs..
also the Hardware is perfectly fine since (it's not a clonebox) with a regular Gemini 4.7/Maxvar image the box works like a charm.

Judging on the date of the now secondlast post tells me the server might be outdated again?
On a sidenote the error does not always show up but would drop back to the "Download Addons / Delete Addons / Manual Install" immediately. In the view of a programmer this looks infinitely buggy cause unexpectedly the "User Abort" message would pop up and stay for more then but a split second sometimes.

-What else might I try to get this image working?
-Is there a way to reinstall the entire "Evolution download panel" in some way? (asking cause that extra.url can't be found in factory state ofc)

EDIT: I keep getting this "Configfile parse error" on two different routers and even while connected directly to the cable modem.
