HDD Recording menu? - cant stop recoring!!

I've finalyy managed to initialise my HDD, but when starting a recording i cant stop it. Would have thought that the stop button was a good way to do just that, but no.
I had to wait until the program finished, and it stopped by itself.

Are there any menu for recording settings and use of buttons?

I think you have to key the RED KEY again.

When i try the red key, i get options of starting another recording, but not to stop the ongoing one.

Did you start the recording by just pressing the red button if so did you select record indefinitely, if so just reboot the box Or is it a Timer recording?

If it a timer recording then you need to delete the timer. Menu-timer and then select the timer press menu and select delete.

It was on timer recording, had to delete the timer.
