Hmm interesting, I have an 8k with a 4505 as the third tuner but no go here, all I get is 'no data on transponder' (timeout reading pat) though I got a whopping signal.

Before I give up can you perhaps save and post your channel list here ?

Hi!
Can I confirm that these are out of reach for someone like me down in the south of europe (the middle of the med) using a 1.4 m dish?
(A scan gave zero channels for the satellite, unfortunately!:mecry

Well, you might be at the fringe area but that is not the problem - the problem is your receiver. Even if your dish can receive the satellite it is not sure you will see any signal on 11495 V which BBC package transmitts on. To see if your dish receives the satellite, try tune in 11666 V, SR 9765 DVB-S. It is Channel 5 London (scrambled) but if you can download the channels then you you might be able to get the BBC package (which depends on your receiver).

I do not want to get on your nerves but I think you can open it with DM boxes because of Olimpic Games in London. BBC changed some parameters and channels like stream in hd 401 and therefore they turned off pid and pmt decryption so you can scan it and find channels.

It was openned in December and closed after three weeks and even if people have it scanned on their boxes they could not open the channels then because they activated pmt encryption again or even something more we do not know about. Pmt and pids were known, channels scanned on boxes like DM but in January chanells did not open.

We will se after Olimpic Games ends.

Boxes like dr.hd CT5000combo+ and TM5402+ ,6900+ are better if think of longer reception.

You must be close. Something has changed recently, as today I am now able to scan in the channels into my Spiderbox!

But non of them open and are identified as scrambled channels > but Biss is not identified!!!!

Yes I could scan in the channels too with my Spiderbox now, have never been able to do that before. Could not decrypt them though. Let's hope Michael is wrong, will show after Olympics I guess.

Has anyone got this package to open with cccam? I can only get it to open with mgcamd. Seems it doesn't matter what I type in constant.cw.

well how comes i can see pics on ITV 1 HD and CH4 HD 11495V 44100 9/10 DVB-S2 QPSK @ 27.5°W ??

But with UTV HD on same freq its just black screen ??

I am a total newbie so please go easy on me
I have a dm800hd running a SIM1 and enigma2 with latest catseye channel list.
I use a 90cm triax on a rotor from east of uk and do not get a signal at all from 27.5w
Can someone plz tell me if
a, its possible to get them on my setup
b, if it is, what do i need

Technomate 5402 does not record with subtitles on the bbc channels from 27.5w position. It just takes sound and picture but there are no subtitles when I watch records. I tried recording with subtitles on and off and it failed anyway. What about f-15 in case of recording subtitles ? Obviously 5402 can record with subtitles on any other channel besides that all bbc from 27.5w.

28.2E is blocked from the install place of my dish so i tried to get the UK BISS stuff at 27.5W where i do receive strong signal on my Technotrend S2-1600 PCI card. I am using DVB Dream 2.2b, entered the ECM pid and BISS keys in vplug but still I cannot manage to get sound on BBC HD, BBC One HD, ITV1, C4 HD, just picture. S4C HD, STV HD, UTV HD don’t even show video. All radios don’t work as well. The only stations that do work well are all BBC One SD versions, BBC Two, BBC News, CBBC, CBeebies, BBC Parliament. Have you got the same problems ?

Thanks very much satesco. I've been trying with LAV and ffdshow codecs but nothing helped so far. The channel properties are identical to yours, so it must be codec related. Now I have also installed DivX 9.0.1.8 beta from http://www.free-codecs.com/DivX_download.htm hoping this will solve the problem.

Although i have installed the above mentioned codecs and Elecard as well, some do not appear in the list. I suppose they have to be added manually in PostProcessor.ini, right ? If this is the case, how can i ado that ? Is there any tutorial available ?
