Format error

Hi guys!

Since I install the new CAS 8.7.1 I am unable to format my Diablo 2. When I am formatting, at the end, I have a message saying "Format error". I can install new firmwares, keyfiles, caids, backups in my Diablo 2 but impossible to format it. I am using Windows XP Home edition and I already install CAS 8.7.1 several times to check if it was well installed.
Any opinion about the possible problems?

Im using Windows 7 & I have to run Cas Interface Studio 8.7.1 Software in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode.

It happens the same with my diablo2 and cas studio 8.7.1
I cannot format the diblo, with a "Format error" at the end, but installation works fine. A sw problem, a bug, I think...

try running in compatability mode if not try older version might help its what i ended up doing awhile back

try re- instal,option for repair is included(CIS61)as downloaded

I had this problem as well, i kept getting error near the end of format, i just restarted the format and after about the 8th try it formatted, each time i've done it since it's formatted 1 time. ps try not to have antthing else running in the background
