cuando intentas marcar el modo dump de carga en el upgrader te dice ke no tienes permiso del propietario ni marcar "include bootloader"....¿eso implica ke el loader puede desencritar el firm, tiene dentro el algoritmo?
¿seguro ke es igual cargar el firm por usb que por rs232?
¿has probado a cargar un firm con loader en modo dump?
lo ke yo deduzco delos modos de carga del menu de usb del ts100, es ke se pueden hacer cargas "parciales" del firm.... pero el modo de carga dump ?? cual es su objeto o es igual ke lo otro pero selecciona los archivos "nombrados" "dump"

I don't know wich version are you using but the first thing I did before flashing my tuner is to dump by rs232 the whole firmware. I didn't get that message.

And of course you can make partial uploads as preferences or channellists without upgrading the complete firmware via USB. The two dump entries are intended to dump the current firmware or the factory firmware. This is the fastest way to obtain a dump of the complete firmware (including boot (HS11), maincode and channellist).

when you say txt pids (peripheral identification data)you are talking abaut menu displays on screen don´t you?

No, I mean teletext pid. A pid is an identifier for all the transport stream packets that arrive in the digital flux. This is related to the MPEG & DVB standards.

i still dont know in what programming languaje are made ariva firms and of course how are them encrypted....and compiled.....jakitaki perhaps know if they are programmed in linux embedded.....compiled using gnu??

They're written in C. I got an IDE provided by Ali many years ago for their previous chipset. And of course are compiled with gcc and debuged with gdb. Anyway, current mods don't build a complete maincode. They're patched including new modules in the original code and resigning the maincode.

yes, uticox and thanks for the link....loaded by usb and working....more confortable than upgrade by ethernet....

but really they have liberate partially the firmware only for tdt and starmax channels (transponder that is now fallen) but they don´t for fta channels and /or other satellites....they want not to cause more bothering to subscribers....so they facilitate at least tdt tv watching....

a firm that liberates the ts100 from card respect official dump , but limitates the sat reception options....as i speak above

can you merge both firms in one like the first one but with the advantajes of the second( no card needed) comparating or analogizing both?

to "see" other satellites in menu must be on the extended menu options....

well, there is really a chance for the rising from the dark of an ariva ts100 emu firmware......but this depends halfway on jakitaki desires......he have the programs, procedures, and knowledge to do it.....as he is able to create ariva 100, 200, etc emus(with sharing) he could create one for our "polakito", specially since the publising of the last firm "TS100_20110701_2.14B5.abs" that liberates the polakito from pay card.....nevertheless, we must wait until jakitaki gets one polakito to do running test.....he is possible doing them now...

but perhaps you wonder, why doesn´t jakitaki facilitates those software and procedures he knows to the forum users??
or why doesn´t jakitaki answer any cuestions abaut this issue?

hello again! i said above: "......but this depends halfway on jakitaki desires......", and i was right.....the other half depends on our friend "bogyman" who is gonna give us those necessary programs and knowledges to create an emu for polakito..or even better put the job done!!..¿what other reason could be to post in this concrete wire(ts100) despising jakitaki´s prestige and creating a new verb: to troll (trolling)?

¿does "bogyman" knows that jakitaki has given tremebundus a modified fw from the ariva 120 combo which has been tested and "half" works on ariva ts100?
