fausto not working

i have installed fausto 1.45 and tried a few times to run it but nothing happened. i've connected a cable rs232 ,selected the key and selected com1 and pressed connect but nothing is going on.can anyone tell me what is wrong?

Working fine here. With Dragon CAM Predator380 or T-Rex CAM Alphacrypt firmware connected via Season Interface and RS232. ie using Season Connection not Serial Connection.

I don't own a Arion, Ferguson or Openbox though, take it you've tried various different serial baud connections and the different serial types in the Serial Connection Options?

Hope someone with a Arion, Ferguson or Openbox can help you.

What sat rec do you use?

I use a Topfield TF4000 PVR but RS232 is connected to PC at one end and Season Interface at the other (not connected to receiver, as already explained I use HARDWARE Dragon or T-Rex CAMs), So connection is from Fausto/PC to Season Interface/Hardware CAM, not receiver. ie Season TAB of Fausto not Serial TAB which (I assume) is the connection method you are trying to get working.

The Fausto PDF explains connection methods (server/client also), I am sure we already have screenshots for various receiver connections also.
