Should the fan in dm800hd be working even when the receiver is in standby? Thank you

No, it shouldn`t, at least mine doesn`t (pro version) !!!

On the older version none pro the fan does spin in standby it's normal.

Good version the Pro it has the mtuner and mother board revisions one of them turning the fan off in standby.

Oh by the way real dm800s do not have a fan on the CPU well the original j revision mother boards didn't not sure if later versions have.
