To get out of the boring day to day we some time like to play with other form of Video Encapsulation like T2MI,, Spain DTT and now we where just trying to learn from Russia OTT.

I know Title is wrong originally we try to build a Win7 frond end. But most of us in fact use EBS you can see post from developer Cjcr. We also use Crazycat Crazysacn for tuning.

Then we pass Raw TS to our Program where we play with the signal and learn. We call this program T2MI as it was our 1rst de-capsulation project. And Finally we pass processed signal to VLC to see our results.

Now I been playing with code on my own. I am using this osurce code for learning porpoise

I have it working under Mingw. But when I try to decapulate I get errors.

1rst obstacle that program only understand

0x3B => DSI/DII Section
0x3C => DDB Section

But it seems this one work with
0x3E => I am calling it for now Private Data Section as I do not have the Real Specs.

Then I have
invalid protocol type 0x5E & message_id != 0x1

Well Can you help getting us with the missing info. I try to download missing info:

Yes we are very gratefull to you. We include your code in out Test APP. We wrongly called T2MI_decap. Well originally that was our 1rst goal encourage by drhans. He did wanted to find a way to use this on encrypted tanberg pids. See

Then we included Abertis DDT etc. In general we wanted a way to test none common delivery of data but in Windows. I learn a lot from posted thread at ricks. Thanks a lot for your code.

It seems, that the idea of this broadcast is similar to Astra SkyDSL or Eutelsat ToWay. If I would have a Toway Router, I would try to connect it fist to the antenna, then to a Fritzbox Cable (like the Fritzbox 6490 or7390). That Fritzboxes have an integrated tuner, which scans all frequencies and redistribute the programs over wlan. And that is very similar to the Eutelsat SmartBeam idea.
There would be also an encoder usefull, that converts the DVBS-Signal to DVB C Spectrum.
