Today i found that first test feeds for Eurovision Song Contest was encrypted, every year this was FTA .. anyone knows if this year all the feeds for ESC will be encrypted?

nobody knows that for sure... More and more feeds are encrypted so I'd expect it to be the same for the ESC.

somebody already posted the key on forum for today ESC test, i guess this key will always be different? .. anyone knows (from the past) how often EBU change the keys for their events?

i think if they would have theyre feeds encrypted it should be the same key for all events becouse if they change theyre biss after every event they would have to contact all rights payer a.k.a broadcasters every day diffrent biss code doenst that sounds hard becouse only one guy is in charge of that at EBU feedpint at B&W Hallerne

i really dont know much about this but for me is logic that this is somehow automatic.. i mean - they could change thousands BISS keys in one evening and everything will work on TV broadcasters? please tell me i am wrong?

yes they can change but at feed recieving points at brodacasters that isnt so automatic Last year i was at RTV Slovenia and they taught me if somebody change keys frequently they prepeare keys before event but unexpected change is hard for broadcaster not for uplinker he just changes tha values its hard for the guy or girl at feed point whos in charge for relations and broadcastin informations if you want all about it u can check that video below

yes i was the one with whom all started my friend from Maribor recorded me a 4GB TS and get me Crypt8 an i requested for Biss decryption and then biss code hit the forum

If Feeds are Biss encrypted its only a matter of Recording a few 300mb .TS files and get good crypt8 from that recording no need at all to record 4GB .ts files thats overkill , lol's !

easy enuff then to get crypt8 with Coolbri Rainbow Tools
Hard part is figuring which chain table and plain type required in order to get the Control Word [ CW ] a.k.a Biss key from the crypt8 .
But 99.9% of the time if you have a good crypt8 there will always be someone on this fine forum will always for sure find key in no time at all thats what makes this forum the very best on the net ...lots and lots of real helpfull experienced members here you'll find .

yes but we are using v1 still becouse v2 us complicated to understand the interface the older once is fast but sometimes it wont show you the key if the file isnt big enough, with this feed we had too becouse the CAT or Conditioanal Access Table was hidden within the H264 stream so it couldnt find it only with bigger file it shows a a good ammount of Crypt8 annd it shows 100% correct once

one question - if i record the show in biss without a key and i found the key after she show - is there any chance to decrypt that video with right key?

yes but i didnt try that yet so i cant do it we have software decoding sollution but as i saw every year test from ESCC were encrypted but shows were not becouse i talked to my friend who keeps him self an archive of ESC from 2009 till now
