Anyone tried to use this? I think that DM500HD does not have powered Esata. Am I right? Noramlly an Esata flash drive uses the power of an USB I think.

Would apreciate some feedback if anyone has some experience with this.

Thanks.

You will need an externaly powered Esata hard Drive for it to work, the Esata port does contain some power but no where near enough what is required to power the entire drive on it own.

If its that important to you check out the USB mod for the 500HD and use a USB external HD, but im guessing that too will require external power source to run properly as well.
