error1 no ca found

can anyone help with this error1 no ca found
problem i have on a dm800hd please. this is my
findings on trying to fix the proble to get the box
working again,


with loader v1.3.3.7
it says upload compleate waiting acknowledge
and then it just stays at this point on the dreamup panel

using loader v1.3.3.4 the following happens
with use network box ticked

14:12:03 box type: DM800
14:13:13 Calculating checksum...
14:13:14 Uploading file to box...
14:13:27 box is flashing from its memory...
14:15:45 OK, flash-copy succeeded

and the same result with use network box un ticked
but this took a lot longer to compleate

20:48:09 box type: DM800
20:48:53 Calculating checksum...
20:48:55 Uploading file to box...
21:49:35 box is flashing from its memory...
21:50:59 OK, flash-copy succeeded


then i get a small panet saying
the box was flashed successfully>
and i click>ok after both ways

on the oled screen it gives this info
dream nultimedia the ip and
**serial mode***
then i exit the dreamup loader and uplug to re boot the box
but the box still wont boot up and on the oled screen it says

ERROR!
*erro1: no ca found

i changed the main board on this dm800 it now has a new
clone rev L maian board fitted and i have used the sim card
and tuner from the original board and this is a genuine dreambox
sercurity sim thats white with this written on the sim
[dreambox security SIM AP2]

with a new board and everything now looks ok
could the sim card be the problem and could this have
been damaged when the orginal mainboard was damaged.and would replacing
the sim get the box working again.i have i missed something in trying
to sort the box out

maybe you have flashed a patched imaged for a clone on it and when it reboots you get the error no CA Found again,that happened to me on an original,try flashing it with an official DMM image and if that works reflash it again.

you will see new window upgrade S\W with right image

if you get to serial mode on the LED and see the ip dont do anything else with dreamup,leave it as it is.
open your web browser and put that ip whats on the oled in there,and you should see the firmware page,and choose firmware upgrade and flash it that way, and it should reboot ok after that.

many thanks for the advice i did get the ip in the web browser and
it did flash the box but the re-boot button thats usualy under the flash progress was not on the page to re booot so after it got to 100% i exited the browser and unplugged the dm800 and when re powered up it had the same message no ca found, i flashed with
a genuine image as i have a genuine sim in the clone
mother board is this right or should i use a clone image
also i wondered if when the board packed in could the problem
have killed my sim at the same time and would a clone sim work and then i could flash clone images

is you box has sim 201 or Ferrari sim?

i was told it was a original dm model
and the sim is white with this on it
in black letters [dreambox security SIM AP2]
and when it stopped working i was told that i could
use a clone motherboard and my sim would work with
this board and i wondered if the sim could have fried
when my brother killed the box, i also used the tuner from
the original motherboard could this be a problem

just to update for anyone with this problem
i have now got a clone newnigma image on the box
i was told you could use genuine images with a clone mainboard
and a genuine sim but that now looks wrong,and only clone images
can be used i then tried the clone image first with dreamup and when it said box type: DM800,Calculating checksum...Uploading file to box... the box is flashing from its memory...OK, flash-copy succeeded. it left the box in serial mode.so i flashed the same
image on the box then when fully flashed i removed the power cable and then plugged back in to re boot the box the box booted up and
i was able to set the menus and open the channels, being unsure what image to use i tried this that is for sim 201
[sim1-69-70-72--newnigma2-dm800-07-9-2010] and now i'm wondering if it would be wise to get a ferrai sim card that i read is said to enable lots more images to be used.
