When I try to flash, the process is stopping just when the file is down¨loaded to the STB, an an error is reported. It was something like this: crc header is not correct. Please check the file.

What is this..? Can it be fixed?

I then tried to download the USB-version, but it was not possible now. Some kind of error or maintenance on the server...

I would edit my posting, but it was impossible.

I have a 9000HD, which I want to test Enigma on. But I just can't get it right. All attempts (USB-stick/Flash tools) end up with either E1 or E10 in the display. Any good advice? Is it maybe impossible to flash enigma over dg-based image?

Off course you can flash:) only few things to be shure :
1-format you pen in fat32
2- the image file must be for your STB & the size E2 is normally 33 296 384 bytes
3- the name can only be: usb_update.img (you must rename the file)
*if you try AAF, be shure you have downloaded the right flash file:
AAF_MultiMedia_Edition_IP-Box9XX_UPDATEUSB_V2.rar

Thank you for your advice. I think I have the correct versions, but will give it another go, including "brand new" download of the files. :)

Strange, but i didn't succeed using the flash file, but I made it with the correct USB-version. In fact I did try the other two yesterday, as the one tagged with "Update", made me think that it was for a minor fix, or something like that.

AAF is looking OK, but I miss other languages. Maybe I can fix it, by adding from another image..? Anyhow: I will be really glad if anyone could direct me to other suitable files for USB flashing. I think that it's best to try at least a couple of different makes, before I settle for one...

try PKT images for E2, you might prefer them to AAF.

but to be fair i think the latest AAF is possibly the best E2 image there is, and the picture quality is superb compaired to most other E2 images.

Thanx, I will try PKT. AAF is probably all right, but I failed to get picture... "Tune failed", or something like that. I just can't figure out what is wrong.

Tune failed solved by re-installing image. Only problems left, is the uncontrollable fan, and the lack of subtitlesettings. If you know of any plugin, or something, that might solve these problems, I'd be really glad for some advice. :)
