for beginners.
======================================
Well - telnet .... mysterious word. In fact, nothing terrible.
In short, this invention is to telnet, which allows us to access
to the command line (aka DOS window aka text) on a remote computer.
Its functionality is limited due to the fact that the connection between computers is not encrypted (which is sent in clear text)
and is therefore less secure than cable. But enough of this mądrzenia to
we get to work.
In his description Oprea for Windows XP as a system quite popular,
but it applies to all systems based on NT kernel.
For Windows 9x/ME for the telnet connection must use an additional free tool that is PUTTY
(Google is your friend).
And so to the point. Click Start - Run.
In the window, type telnet and the IP of our dreambox.
Click OK (or just type Enter).
Shows us another window in all other softach it looks like).
As you can see we have some helpful information.
Now, log into our Dreambox.
First (dreambox login), type root.
Press Enter
Then (enter password dreambox.
And again, enter.
Successful logon to DreamBox should result in displaying the following screen.
Code:

If you get login incorrect message is either a mistake in writing the password (Linux box is sensitive to uppercase and lowercase letters,
we all enter the young), or you set a custom password -
it just unlikely.
then enter the command:
passwd
and we enter
then enter a password any nonstandard
(Not August or kojażące with our name or with a nick on the net because these are the first things that probably somebody typed)
and we enter
then again Drim ask you to enter a new password
So write them again and enter
password has been changed ...
And now what's next? Password is zmienone,
So time to end the telnet session.
For this purpose, we use the exit or logout command.
Then type exit and press Enter.
Black box closes itself to us. And that's all.
