EL 700 FTA stuck on ON

Hi Dear Experts, my EL 700 FTA is stuck on ON. Please help solve this problem and if I need latest Alpha firmware please do a link because I cannot find it.

Come on Guys ,some help please. I have been going through the threads but found nothing, I even found a post from ROBSAT (which we miss very much) regard this problem to which he had no answer. I tried a software and it seems that there is another problem because in the Upgrader I am getting Target not Connect Or Target Is Error Status, again I have been going through the threads but they only say to check the cable to which I am sure that it is well connected. Help please

Can you send the Orginal-Sw with the UpgradeTool 2.0.0b(Setting "All Chunk) to your Receiver?

Was "on" after flashing or just?

Thamks Matz79 for your reply, no I cannot send s/w because I get Target not Connect. When I try to switch on Stb it gets stuck on ON

If the "on" in the display came on their own, I think the Elko C24 on the power supply is defect.

The capacitor is curved when it is faulty

I had some receivers with the same problem. Elko exchange and then they leave.

Here you are mate

Fix the "Stuck at ON or STAT" Problem
When your Echolink sticks at "ON" or Stat

you will need an ALIMINIUPG VR.3.0Loader plus an
EL_Repair_'ON'_ Fault.bin. to be loaded with the Loader

I am posting this for the benefit to whoever has this problem. matz79 was right when he said it could be the elko 24 (capacitor). I was going to scrap the stb as the guy that I brought it from said that it will cost me 33 euro to fix it, but then I remembered matz79`s post, and you know what, I fixed it myself spending only 0.33 euro cents. Thanks matz79.
