Easiest way detecting Satellites

hello people, this might sound like a dummy question, probz is with me lol, but just want to know the best way to find satellites on your receiver i.e searching for 10e. I go to motor settings and move my motor but sometimes get confused with 13e and 10e, thinking I found 10e,but it was 13e all along..how do I know which satellites which? Hope this makes sense..thanks

Go to lyngsat or other and pick a channel that is unique to an individual satellite and try to tune it in, if its there you are ok if its not your probably on the wrong sat.
