e1-oscam-ymodv18 read softcam keys

How do I get oscam-ymodv18 running on my DM500S on OpenPli work to read softcam keys for Bulsat @39E

do I need all three config file, server, config and user

as far as I know oscam is normally a card server, and you use mgcamd as softcam. How do I go about setting oscam-ymodv18 asa softcam only - also can it use a cline to connect to a remote cccam server.

Yes Oscam y-mod reading keys from oscam.key but i have problem.

I have DM500S and OpenPLi too. I couldnt make it running. How did u make it run? Or you're just trying to install like me?

I've installed with tar.gz also i've tried manually install but still same... Can somebody explain how to install for Enigma 1 OpenPLi on Dreambox 500S? Or i will try go back to Gemini image if thats the problem.

this is how I install softcam in open pli

copy bin over to usual place /var/bin

telnet to the dm500s and run this command

touch /var/etc/plimgr/cardservers/cams/oscam

The above command will create a blank text file

now oscam should be available via the softcam selection screen

Thanks yes now i can select oscam from softcam selection but its not reading keys from oscam.key i guess cuz it doesnt decrypting anything

Maybe we are installing wrong and maybe theres is still missing files

I think it must write OSCam ymod not just OScam

Have a look in var/scipt and see if you have oscamYmodxxxx_em.sh...If not correct the em After that you have now oscam in cams selection... Then go here in dreambox.keys and you also have there "oscam.keys". Download this oscam.keys. Send this oscam.keys to var/tuxbox/config/oscam.keys. Restar your oscam and it will work fine...;)

done all that still no luck

do I need to do anything in the config files to read the keys file and turn it into a softcam

Nope... I have it working in Dreambox 7000s and in a 800HD... No problem at all. Maybe you need to instal again the oscam version..:confused:

OSCAM 1.00-unstable_svn-ymodv18-t33 build #0

do you have the conf, server and users file - any chance you can post them

I have put the oscam.keys (all in lower case) in /var/tuxbox/config

is that correct ?

A E1 version 18t33... I like better the t30 version, but both work fine:) You have to change "em" in scriot to have it in cams section and no in cardreeder section...

I've tried e1-oscam-ymodv18-t33.tar.gz by yuriks and i renamed scripts like this oscam_cam_em.sh in scripts folder. its still same for me... Which image are you using?

I`ve tested it with DE and Nemesis, I use this last one, but iscam works well with both;)... In script you only change cs to em

I've tried that too then i gave up and installed gemini 4.70 image with oscam installed inside i just put oscam.keys to tuxbox/config now everything working fine :)
