Hi, my receivers SOLO2 VU + and Dreambox DM 800 SE DVB not open in 4:2:2, 4:2:0 only. This limitation is firmwere or processors BroadCON? I have a Azbox Elite which typically opens this format.

the azbox with do mpeg2 422 but not h264 422. you can stream 422 to a pc with your enigma box and view it there.

I am trying to use 2.1.3 VLC to stream 4:2:2 through OpenWebif. Unfortunately, the picture on the computer is far from perfect - during fast scenes or zoom-ins I can see "jerky" picture. By this I mean that frames are missing. Also, I can quite often see jagged edges (interlacing?).
Is there any setting in VLC that will eliminate the two defects before I connect my HDMI from computer to TV?
Or is something else to blame? Codecs? I am using Win7.

Can be codecs... or are you streaming by Wireless? Could be that too.

PotPlayer portable x64: audio OK but no video when streaming from my box using OpenWebif (even 4:2:0).
Again, a possible codec missing on my Win 7?

I think is codecs.

I use VLC and I dont have any problem (only some little "freezes" on some HD 4:2:2 feeds, but I think is about my wireless connection).
