Beware, Duolabs bans ANYONE who dares dissent on their forum....

for posting the following I was BANNED FOREVER.

Duolabs. Why do you keep deleting your customers posts?
Is that your idea of "support???"

If you don't like dissent within your forum then you should have held to your word and released the firmware for EVERYONE on the date you specified... You said firmware to be released on the 17th, only to post "screenshots" of the new firmware... that just winds people up.

You are making fools of those who trusted you to deliver. You made NO mention of it being released to unknown "betatesters" only that it would be released...

I have no use for the c.i. or indeed the i-pod addition, I merely want a satellite reciever that works as advertised, as opposed to a microwave oven waiting for you to release firmware for it.
You (as a company) rely upon the goodwill and recommendations of your users, who pay dearly for the privelage, One happy customer today could translate into 5 happy customers tommorow.

You will find that no goodwill will be forthcoming from your customers should you hesitate to release the firmware.

So I ask on behalf of ALL you current CUSTOMERS and those who will become customers, Release the firmware to everyone (as you did with the FD beta's) and rather than 50 people testing and reporting you will have your entire customer base working TOGETHER with you to acheive a product we can all be proud of..

I have been baned, too. And much more they send me mails advertising me to send my ip to italian police because i insult them.


I only said that the were liing, and again its proved that they lied.

They publis first un may the release of the new firmware, then in april, then in august, in september,...


and when they publis in september, that they were going to publish it on 17th. 24 hours before, they edit the post, and put there that they would publis in 17 for betatesters. Incredible.

I have mails from february telling my that in less than 3 months, i would be a ble to use my bouthg and paid 3 tunners. Today i must have one in the box because if i put them the box dont start. They advertise in the box that the box is 3 tunner and internal hdd supoort.


But in their forum they publis that yo can only use 3 tunners, and only in certain combinations.

They publish in their forum that internal hdd is not supported, and never will be.

And they are sending baned people advises to send his ips and information to police if we again enter and publish that the problems with the box.....

Well under EU law the receiver you paid for must be fit for purpose or you are entitled to your money back. If you have their promises contained in emails then why not tell them to take you to court (which they will not do)and you will counter sue.
Or even notify them that you receiver isn't as advertised so is not fit for purpose for which it was intended and ask for a full and complete refund or you will take them to court.

They may huff and puff but they don't 'have a leg to stand on' as we English say.

I only want that they work and solve the problen. And tell true. If they are having problems, say us, ey sorry we have a problem, we cant solve it please wait.

If they are no capaable, open the code, and others will do it.

Or give us realy beta distributions, ask for problems, resume them,.....

definitely, work with users, and not lie us.

But not promise us dates. And wen they arrive, quiet and not respond. Insult users that ask them for theyr promises,...
